Cookie Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026
This is the complete list — not a category summary. Contract Keeper sets one cookie and a handful of local-storage keys, and the table below names every one of them.
Not ready to publish yet
This page is a working draft, not legal advice. Everything highlighted in red has to be replaced with your real details, and the whole document should be reviewed by someone qualified before you rely on it. Delete this box when you have done so.
- The legal entity that operates this service, and a contact address for cookie questions.
- Re-check this table whenever a third-party script, analytics tool or embedded widget is added — a policy that lists fewer items than the site actually sets is worse than no policy.
The short version
We set what is needed to keep you signed in and to honour the choices you make yourself. Everything else is off until you switch it on. There is no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no cross-site profiling, and no third-party analytics tag anywhere in this application today.
Strictly necessary — always on
These cannot be switched off, because switching them off would break the thing you asked for. Under the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent, and we do not pretend otherwise by asking for it.
| Name | Type | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Local storage | Your sign-in session. Without it you would be signed out on every page load. Set by Supabase, our authentication provider. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
| sidebar_state | Cookie | Remembers whether you collapsed the navigation sidebar. | 7 days |
| ck.language | Local storage | The interface language you selected yourself. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| ck.consent.v1 | Local storage | Your answer to the cookie banner. Ironically the one thing we must store regardless — otherwise we would have to ask you again on every visit. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| ck.consent.log.v1 | Local storage | A device-local history of your cookie-consent decisions and withdrawals. It records the time and category choices, never cookie values or sign-in tokens. | The latest 50 decisions, until you clear your browser storage |
Preferences — off unless you allow them
Convenience, not necessity. Refusing these costs you nothing except that we re-guess your region and re-fetch exchange rates on each visit. Turning the category off also deletes whatever was already stored under it.
| Name | Type | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| ck.region.guess.v1 | Local storage | The country we guessed from your browser's time zone, so amounts appear in a sensible currency before you have told us where you are. A guess is ours, not yours, so it needs your permission. | Until you clear your browser storage |
| ck.fx.rates.v1 | Local storage | A cached table of exchange rates, so converted totals do not require a network request on every visit. Contains no information about you. | 24 hours |
Analytics and marketing — nothing set
Both categories exist in the preference centre and both are empty. No analytics or advertising storage is created by this application at present. The switches are wired up in advance so that if such a tool is ever introduced, it cannot load before you have said yes to it, and so that your existing answer already applies.
If that ever changes, this table changes with it and the consent banner returns to ask you again rather than relying on an answer you gave to a different question.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use Cookie settings — in the footer of every public page, and in Settings once you are signed in. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting and takes effect immediately, including deleting what was already stored.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. That signs you out and returns the banner, since your recorded answer lives in the storage you just cleared.
